RISE Beauty Company is located in York County, Pennsylvania. Owner Casey Grim is a licensed esthetician aka your "estie bestie," or in other words, she finds and maintains beauty. She takes that role very seriously and executes gracefully, both in her work and in her day-to-day life.
In preparation for relocating to a new private suite and in the dawn of launching a new service, Casey approached me for a refresh on her current logo design, updated photos of her and the new machine, and revamped marketing materials to match the new branding. Her goal was to give her business a little facelift (pun intended) to be more visually stimulating than her old logo while maintaining the integrity of the artwork and not straying too far from the original design.
Out with the old...
A lil' face lift never hurt
The first part of this project was to create a logo that aligned with her specific requests. Following an extensive brand audit, we revamped the concepts within the business, evolved the mission and vision statements, and outlined key messages, themes, and symbols. Casey requested a bright, warm, energizing colors with the contrast of a darker base. We deconstructed and reconstructed the RISE Beauty logo with a new font that complements and elevated the new branding. Casey received many different variations of her logo suited for used in several applications.
Next, we created marketing materials to aid in the promotion of her new look and brand recognition. I designed a business card with a QR code that links directly to her booking page. We reviewed several different paper finishes and thicknesses; I guided her to his perfect business card style. In addition, I curated an email signature and several newsletter header for her use in email correspondences.
With the logo design and brand development complete, it was time for the photo session! Casey added a Branded Candids package, giving her one sessions with several props, and edits suited for various uses.
To alleviate some of the headache, I loaded all fonts, colors, patterns, and photos to a shared Canva file, and even created some starter templates to guide her first designs and content creations. With this brand buildout, Casey received her new branding fully loaded into her Canva brand kit and ready to use!
By the conclusion of our project, Casey was ready to relaunch RISE Beauty Company with confidence and grace, as always. #youGLOgirl!
